Suppliers in Brazil and Argentine - Proactive Containment

SUBJECT: Proactive Containment during production interruption

Dear supplier,

Aiming to prevent problems and disturbances in product quality at the beginning of next year (otherwise you company won't stop production for vacation period) we request you to implement a proactive containment in order to prevent quality and/or delivery issues.

This practice aims, at all levels, to support supplier to identify risks and decide preventive actions to protect the customer just after significant stopping period.

Attached to this letter you will find a "Check List" containing the requirements. Besides those already provided in that checklist, up its own experience, supplier may add any additional activites.

Checklist shall be sent back to your reference Supplier Quality Engineer - CNHi SQE - up December 7th, 2018. At the discretion of CNH Industrial, and previously agreed with you, SQE will cross-check the robustness of the evaluation at your site.

Please, be aware that any confirmed disturby due to miscompliance of proposed checklist will be subject to the special containment action described in the CNH Industrial Procedure PUR16.

We count on your active and timely collaboration on this important initiative.

Thank you.
